- The SAMSON pool skimmer basket is designed to be the most durable, longest-lasting, premium skimmer basket in the world. | Beyond rugged, our basket outperforms even in extreme weather conditions - sweltering heat or ice cold, it remains strong, yet collapsible. | Comprised of a proprietary, 100% BPA-Free polymer, The SAMSON skimmer basket is degradation resistant - maintaining its no-crack qualities long term.
- The SAMSON features | 1) Industry leading DURABILITY - withstands abuse like no other | 2) User friendly HANDLES - a. Primary EZ-Grab Handle b. Optional EZ-Hook Receiver Cable for retrieval pole hooks | 3) DUAL-Flow Optionality - a. Standard filtration b. Optional SuperFINE XL Filter Socks (3-Included) for extra filtration, easy leaf & debris disposal and enhanced pool pump protection.
- The SAMSON replacement skimmer basket is suitable to replace brittle, broken, plastic baskets that fit into the most popular skimmer OEM skimmer wells. It's compatible with U-3 Pentair Skimmer Basket 08650-0007, Hayward Skimmer Basket SPX1070E and the B-9 pool strainer basket as direct replacements.
- Unlike our competitors, our skimmer basket naturally has a specific gravity greater than one (1) - meaning it is denser than water and will sink naturally into the skimmer enclosure. | Traditional baskets are made of plastic has a lower density than water, which causes plastic filters to float. | Some manufacturers include metal weights to force their plastic baskets to sink, but this adds harmful metallic ions - potentially staining surfaces and leading to pool damage.
- The SAMSON includes an industry leading 5-Year Warranty upon registration. This basket measures 8 3/16 inches from the top as the outer diameter and 5 1/8 inches on the bottom. The height of the basket is 6 inches from the top of rim to bottom of the base.
